Third Mainland Bridge
The FG has reopened the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos state following restoration work.
This was announced by Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Works and Housing, via his Twitter account on Saturday.
Completed the Third Mainland Bridge Reconstruction. Completely open to traffic today at 12 a.m. Thank you for your patience, everybody. Safely drive,” he wrote.
On Wednesday, the government had declared that the bridge would be shut from Friday for 24 hours.
On July 24, 2020, the bridge was partly closed for maintenance.
